Message Finally got the engine pulled, now to rebuild, totally.

Let me get this out of the way first. I bought my Z in 2004 and have waited years to take this picture. And yes, it is still that cold up here!

So far, I am really happy with the condition of the engine. 115,000 miles.

Other than power and a total rebuild, I had an oil leak to sort out. You TT.NET guys correctly diagnosed my leak as a possible valve cover leak. Both of them are leaking! Is it from the rubber half-moon seals? Is it indicative of some other issue? Guess I will find out as soon as I tear it down.

I dropped the crank pulley, like an idiot and ruined it. I was planning an upgrade anyway, but I am still pissed about it.

One other question. Are the crank sprocket washers supposed to spin freely? The front washer was, and had scoring in it from the shaft key.

Hopefully, I will be done tearing it down this week. Then off to the machine shop!
